Highlight entertainment video of: A record-setting night from junior Candis Kapuscinski lifted the Holland girls basketball team to a 55-53 upset win over No. 2 small school Immaculata. Kapuscinski scored 29 points, surpassing the 1000-point plateau in the process as the school's all-time leading scorer. But it was her pass that sealed the win for the Dutchmen (10-5). Kapuscinski hit Katherine Shanahan in transition for the deciding layup with 14 seconds left. "This is enormous," Holland coach Dan Parker said. "To beat a team like Immaculata is huge. We knew we had to have a special night to be successful and the kids put in the work to make that happen." And it was a night to remember for Kapuscinski, who also had 10 rebounds. Parker said he could tell she was special as a seventh-grader. Now, it's all coming together for the ECIC Division IV leaders. "I think she's one of best guards in Western New York," Parker said. "She had Division I quickness and has been consistently getting better as a ball player." Many thanks to Rod Kerling for creating the video.
